Yigit (pronounced as “Ye-et”) brings extensive experience to the field of architecture and interior design, with a focus on large-scale global hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. Over nearly two decades in the industry, he has honed his skills in delivering design solutions of exceptional quality, consistently meeting the standards of leading hospitality brands worldwide.

Yigit holds a Master of Architecture from Parsons School of Design , which he was awarded with Graduate Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Merit; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University. These academic accomplishments have equipped him with a strong foundation in design theory and practice, which he applies with dedication and creativity.

Currently serving as the Senior Director of Design at Rosewood Hotel Group, Yigit leads the design department in the Americas region. His role highlights his commitment to leadership and strategic vision in architecture and interior design for hotels, resorts, and branded residences.

Prior to his current position, Yigit served as the Principal Architect at Soho House Design, where he played a pivotal role in shaping Soho House Group’s architectural direction in North and Latin America. He contributed to iconic hospitality projects in cities such as Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Portland, and Los Angeles.

Throughout his career, Yigit has held various architectural design roles and also produced independent projects worldwide. These experiences have enriched his technical expertise and deepened his understanding of the architectural and design processes globally.

Yigit is a licensed architect in the State of New York (RA) and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His dedication to excellence in spatial design and his focus on creating unique user experiences are reflected in his work, which has been widely recognized and published in the field of hospitality design.

Yigit resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
